Choose Wellness -- Dec/08 December 19, 2008 |
Merry Christmas and Greetings All Welcome to this Christmas edition of the 'Choose Wellness' Newsletter. A little later than I'd have liked and apologies for the little glitch last month that caused you to receive 2 issues! I guess no one minded too much. This will be just a brief message to wish you all a Joyous Christmas and a very successful New year.
I mentioned last month that we would be travelling North to be present at the opening of daughter Katelyn's fashion expo "Intangible Streamings".... What a wonderful event it was! - we were amazed and so proud of the quantity and quality of her work and what an achievement to be invited to show her collection in New York in January! Not only did we share the experience of Katelyn's exhibition - we then travelled to Mackay where daughter Ngaio's collection of collages "Correspondence" was on show at Mackay Artspace, along with an exhibition of Watercolours and bronzes from the Queensland Gallery. Her collection relates to the expression of thoughts and ideas through letters and postcards in earlier, more leisurely times, in the days before the helter skelter of electronic communication. The collection was created using old family letters, postcards and tiny collectibles and includes a pictorial diary made up of a different page for each day of a whole year - very interesting and afforded her many accolades.
