A: Hydrogenox = negative hydrogen in coral calcium. A: Hydrogenox is an ideal electron donor. Oxidation, oxidative stress, free radicals... these words are heard more and more often and have led to the creation of a field of specialist research. During the process of energy production and self regulation while exposed to the external environment, the body creates unstable molecules which, in order to restabilize, must destabilize other molecules by taking an electron. A: This is precisely the objective of the patent. A cosmetic care product is generally an emulsion consisting of water and oils (or glycerides). Coral calcium is not soluble in glycerides and can lose its effectiveness if mixed in the water portion of the solution. Thus, we have developed a special manufacturing process, which protects the molecule against contact with water and releases the active ingredient only after passing through the pump system. The H- of Hydrogenox is released only at the time of use, thereby preserving its effectiveness.

Q: You use coral in the Hydrogenox. Isn't coral a globally protected species?

A: No, we use fossilized coral. The coral protected by the international authorities is live coral, an endangered species. We use dead coral, or coral that has been fossilized for millions of years, reduced to the state of calcium.

Q: What happens to the calcium after it has released the hydrogen?

A: Calcium is a fundamental element in the skin. It helps in the proliferation and differentiation of the primary skin cells: keratocytes and fibroblasts. It also participates in cell cohesion. It can therefore be used by skin cells for proper regulation. With age, the quantity of calcium in the skin is reduced and an external supplement can be useful to prevent sagging.

Q: What is the origin of HYDROGENOX?

A: Coral calcium (fossilized coral) to which Hydrogen has been added. Hydrogen is naturally occurring atom to which an electron is added (antioxidant power) through a patented process. To do this, it is integrated in the fossilized coral calcium and brought to high temperatures in oxidation conditions.

Q: How is the Hydrogenox protected in the product?

A: Coral calcium containing H- is agglomerated and integrated in a lipid sphere of jojoba wax. This lipid environment protects it from any contact with water in the cream and thus prevents any premature release of the H-.

Q: What happens once applied on the skin?

A: Hydrogenox is readily bio-available and integrates into the skin to play its role as an antioxidant. Calcium, equally small in molecular scale, is used by the skin to promote cellular exchanges, electric exchanges, and cohesion between the cells. The residues of the jojoba beads are integrated in the cell membrane lipids, providing a nourishing and hydrating effect.

Q: How does the bead release H- during application?

A: The bead enters the airless pump through a special valve system, passes through a chamber, and is drawn up into two small holes, which allow it to be ejected. Upon exit, the bead is partially crushed and releases the Hydrogenox.

Q: Are the beads heat resistant?

A: The jojoba wax used for the beads melts at approximately 58°C. At 50°C the bead softens but does not melt. Hydrogenox is still protected in the lipid environment.

A: More than 3 years. The beads are composed of raw materials that are stable over time, which give the beads a shelf life at least equal to that of the cream. The beads are made just before the manufacture of the cream.
