Multiple Sclerosis - could there be a cure?

Recently I blogged about my daughter Katelyn's participation in the 'Dancing With The Townsville Stars Fundraising Event'. Raising money for Multiple Sclerosis She decided to take part (even though she had never danced before) to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Australia, inspired by her great friend Michelle whose professional dancing career was cut short when she was diagnosed with MS some years ago.

I would like to thank all of you who contributed - the event was a great success and Katelyn went very close to achieving the target she had set herself.

Here is a photo of Kate with her partner for the night, Phil, as they prepare to dance.

It was a great night! and lots of money was raised for many different charities.

But could there be a cure?

A recent episode of the Australian ABC TV series Catalyst explored the possibility that there may be a cure at hand.
