New Preservative-Free-SkinCare

How many times have you purchased a well-known product only to find it doesn’t match up to your expectations, or you’ve been assured that the product is made from ‘natural ingredients only’ and with ‘no preservatives’, to find that, on application your skin reacts and turns red or blotchy.

I am so excited about this new preservative-free-skincare range. It has only recently been introduced to the marketplace and I was lucky enough to trial some of the products before their release and I am very impressed. No other skin care that I have used felt so good and left my skin feeling so soft.

This Optimal Skin Care System™ was launched in Japan, the most competitive skin care market in the world, in mid 2006 and received outstanding acceptance and amazing results. It offers cutting edge formulas to combat the environmental stresses present in our world today.

Using hyper-enhanced Wellness Water ® that inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi, thereby acting as a preservative, the system is very effective in producing younger and healthier skin. It hydrates the skin and avoids the harmful effects of chemical preservatives. To find out more click on the image.

Compatible with all skin types, and suitable for use by both women and men, this system opens up a new era of non-invasive skin care.

The skin is the largest organ of your body and just like your lungs, the skin "breathes" in and out. As it does, it takes in nutrients and releases toxins. This is why we need to be careful about what we apply to our skin – especially the more sensitive areas like our face.

You have probably noticed that there are many more medications now being offered as a "patch" to wear on your skin, or a gel to apply. Research has shown that introducing substances through the skin is an effective and steady way to get needed medicines directly into the bloodstream.

That’s great if we are wanting to administer certain drugs through our skin, but it does mean that we should be particularly careful about what we put onto our skin. Most of us tend to not be very diligent sometimes about things like skin care, which we are applying regularly to our faces. We assume, particularly if it's a well-known brand, that it is safe to use.

There are two very important questions we need to ask about the products we choose to use to enhance our skin.

  1. What is in this product?
  2. Is it helpful? ... or is it harmful?

There are over 10,000 chemicals used as ingredients in skin care products throughout the industry. The National Institute of Occupational Safety has determined that 900 of those are unsafe and others have yet to be tested for safety. In Europe, more than 400 have been banned for use but many of those can still be found in products on our grocery, drug and health food store shelves.

While some skin care companies claim products are "all natural", or "anti-aging" they may still contain ingredients that are potentially harmful and promote breakdown of the skin, like some natural and synthetic preservatives, suspected carcinogens, drying alcohols, synthetic fragrances and dyes.

While beauty may not be "skin deep", keep in mind that your skin care products go deep beyond the skin and can affect your long-term health and appearance. Being an educated skin care shopper will ensure you get the best possible products to enhance your skin and protect your health.

These are the attributes to look for in skin care to be sure it is effective and safe.

It needs to be

  • Preservative free
  • Anti-aging
  • Fragrance free
  • Colorant free
  • Allergy-tested
  • Suitable for all skin types (even the most sensitive)
  • Non-comedogenic (not clogging)
  • Ophthalmologist Tested (Eye Cream)
  • There should be NO animal testing
  • and
  • you will want to see real, visible results.
The recently released Optimal Skin Care System™ is one that can meet all of these criteria.

The difference between the Optimal Skin Care System™ and others on the market is, believe it or not, water.

Not just any water, but water with a difference. The water used is the result of years of research and development conducted by Haru Naito, a Japanese elite swimmer and sports performance researcher.

Haru's experience both as a swimmer and working with other athletes and coaches sparked a heightened curiosity regarding the human body, specifically the way water relates to human physiology. The more he researched water's impact on human performance, the more he realized the importance of adequate purification. He began to wonder whether purified or certain natural waters could, in fact, increase the span of one's life.

Haru travelled to the Hunza Valley, where people routinely lived to be 100 years of age or more. Some thought it was because of the food they ate, but Haru focused on and studied the water and the layers of volcanic rock, rich in mineral content that acted as a natural filter for the water. He found that this perfect natural filtration system created water with significant enhanced properties:

  • Lower internal surface tension, making water “wetter” and more hydrating than other water
  • Abundant in reduced ions which had an anti-oxidant effect
  • Natural resistance to bacterial and fungal growth
  • High concentrations of silica, an important tract mineral for cellular function and pH.
Haru, convinced that it was the water that was largely responsible for the longevity and health of the Hunza population, set out to turn regular tap water into enhanced water by developing a filtration system that duplicated the geology of the Hunza valley water.

You could say that he has duplicated "The Perfect Water".

The Japanese Minister of Health took an interest in his work and conducted rigorous tests, resulting in their unprecedented endorsement of the filtration system. A number of industries, including the healthcare sector, had been using this enhanced water technology before it was applied to the skin care category in 2005. Strangely enough, it was the agricultural use of the "miracle water" to reduce the devastation of fungal growth on potato crops in the US that inspired the possibility of a totally preservative-free skin care line.

Skin care products are required by law to have preservatives in them in order to prevent the growth of fungus and bacteria in these products, however, "The FDA cannot require companies to do safety testing of their cosmetic products before marketing." (FDA Office of Cosmetics)

A skin care system in which the water itself creates a natural resistance to bacterial and fungal growth had never been accomplished. Haru’s water technology has made the Optimal Skin Care System™ possible.

In addition to providing a means of eliminating preservatives, the water filtration technology is also said to provide a means of hydrating skin cells more efficiently than the filtered-only water commonly used in skin care ranges.

A seemingly impossible feat has been accomplished with this Optimal Skin Care System™.

"Research indicates that many preservatives, such as parabens, can prematurely age skin, which defeats the purpose of skin care."

A skin care system that not only eliminates the need for harsh preservatives, but also provides 'dramatic' improvements in skin moisture, rehydration, smoothness and radiation can only be a benefit to consumers.

About Parabens
Parabens are chemicals used as a preservative to inhibit the growth of bacteria and moulds.
Parabens are known to disrupt endocrine (hormone) function.
More than 12 recent research studies show parabens to have estrogenic activity when applied to the skin - they raise estrogen levels which increase risk of certain cancers.
Recent research detected five types of intact parabens in human breast tumors, an indication that parabens penetrate skin and remain in breast tissue.
Animal studies indicate that parabens may also affect prenatal development of male reproductive system.
Parabens are not only found in skin care. They are found in many personal care products: deodorants, shampoos, etc. Therefore researchers show concern for "daily, chronic exposure" and the cumulative effect of this exposure.

Would you like your skin to be...?
  • Super-hydrated - 100% improvement
  • Firm & tight - 24% increase
  • Showing a 32% improvement in wrinkles and lines
  • Having a 31% increase in skin tone
  • 73% more radiant

This is the promise of the Optimal Skin Care System™ . 8 weeks of clinical trials and consumer testing in Japan came up with these results. Now, people in Australia and USA are seeing these results for themselves.

The key ingredient of the Optimal Skin Care System™ is, of course, the ultra-pure water filtered using a revolutionary, scientific technology that suppresses the proliferation of bacteria.

Along with ultra-pure water, the products include these nourishing, active ingredients.

  • Trehalose, a disaccharide that moisturises, protects and alleviates damage to skin cells
  • Iris Florentina Root Extract with isoflavone to help reduce signs of ageing
  • Yeast Extract, rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals, nourishes the skin and strengthens the layer where skin cells are created.
  • Artemia Extract retains DNA cell moisture. It also helps protect cells from harmful ultra-violet light and revitalises them.

What all this means is - you look and feel great!!
